s “Take Vegas Back” campaign took a top spot this year at the 2015 Las Vegas Digital Media Awards, receiving the “Best Innovative Campaign” award. Hosted annually by the Las Vegas Interactive Marketing Association (LVIMA), the ceremony celebrates successful marketing campaigns and presents accolades for standout initiatives, which have been judged by numerous interactive marketing associations across the country, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Austin, Texas.
“We are very grateful for the recognition that this award gives us,” said Michael McNamee, Vice President of Marketing. “It was truly a property-wide effort creating the success that ‘Take Vegas Back’ achieved. And in this case, special recognition should go to our digital team, led by Lou Ragg and John Svoboda, for their efforts.”
Stratosphere’s “Take Vegas Back” campaign, which was a comprehensive communication campaign, with television, digital, radio, billboards and magazine ads throughout the region and Canada, debuted in February 2015. It speaks to consumers in an emotive way to highlight the idea that guests don’t need to spend a fortune to have a great experience in Las Vegas. And by joining the Stratosphere’s movement to “Take Vegas Back,” consumers can have a great Vegas experience at a great value.
Launched in 2004, Las Vegas Interactive Marketing Association’s goal is to educate the local interactive marketing community with current trends in advertising and marketing through a network of leading Las Vegas professionals including marketing directors, account executives, publicists and media buyers.
